I'm super excited! Why you might ask? I just enrolled in Sean McCabe's Skillshare Class called Digitizing Hand Lettering: From Sketch to Vector.
I've been secretly tinkering around with a sketchbook for the last few months in an attempt to improve my hand lettering. I'm making progress and it was time to up my game and move what I put in the sketchbook into the computer. I searched the trusty interwebs and ran across Sean's class. I've been a huge admirer of his work for a while now & I can't wait for his Obi Wan Kenobi like lessons. Squee!

Hello fellow Chicagoan!
ReplyDeleteI too have been a fan of Mr. McCabe. I am seriously thinking about signing up for his Skillshare course (along with Contino's and Steed's.) I was wondering since it's been a month now, what you thought of the class.
Hi Mark - I found the class really helpful! I was struggling with getting my sketched designs to scan cleanly and Sean's tips were just want I needed. I've been tinkering with the idea of signing up for Contino's and Steed's Skillshare courses as well. If you pull the trigger, this fellow Chicagoan would live to hear about your experience.
ReplyDeleteHi! I'm interested in this class but I wondered how it works. Do you receive access to a full tutorial with text and videos or is it a live class at a precise date and time? Is it available worldwide? I'm sorry to bother you with those questions but I couldn't find the precise information on Skillshare.
ReplyDeleteHi Sarah - Skillshare provides you links to a series of recorded videos that you can watch at your convenience and I believe it is available worldwide. Hope that helps!
